What if for a moment you had the opportunity to manage your own café?
The Barista Residency is a new café concept aimed to further baristas’ careers by allowing them to design their own café temporarily. The goal is to redefine the café model, to create a sustainable space for baristas to exercise their profession, give the spotlight they deserve via mutual collaboration.
By opening residencies in multiple cities we aim for baristas to connect beyond their local area and encourage connection and exchanges.
WHAT?
Just like any regular coffee shop we serve coffee beverages BUT our house baristas and guests will take RESIDENCE and decide of what we’ll offer on the menu!
WHY?
We are giving a platform for baristas to show their work because like artists and their art, coffee is a culture and a craft that deserves to be exposed and shared.
HOW?
For a month or two, the resident barista will craft a signature menu and promote their favorite coffee bean selection. The barista will have full direction of the space during their residency.
WHO?
We’re coffee workers facilitating spaces for local baristas to network and expand their community. Experienced baristas, beginners interested in a career in coffee or freelance baristas in need of a platofrm, all are welcome!
